Duration: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course takes approximately 1-2 years including 160 hours of work placement. This can be fast tracked depend on Experience and Previous Qualification.
Practical placement: 160 hours in a long day care environment we help you organise.
Entry requirement: Applicants should be over 18 years of age and able to demonstrate appropriate literacy and numeracy skills.
Pathways: Assistant Director, Playgroup Leader, Occasional Care Coordinator
Duration: Diploma of Childhood Education and Care course takes approximately 1-2 years including 2800 hours of work placement. This can be fast tracked depend on Experience and Previous Qualification.
Work Placement: You will also be required to undertake 280 hours of vocational placement in an approved setting.
Entry requirement: Admission in Diploma you must provide evidence of completion of a Certificate IV or above.
Pathways: Assistant Director, Playgroup Leader, Occasional Care Coordinator
Duration: Min 8 Months
Work Placement: Applicants of this qualification are required 120 hours of supervised practical placement in a Disability Organisation.
Entry requirement: Prospective students are required to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and a Pre-Training Interview, administered by and to the satisfaction of ITHEA and be at least 18 years of age.
Pathways: Disability support workers, Disability teacher, Community support
Duration: This course takes approximately 1 year but students can take a shorter period depending on their life experiences and level of qualifications and the modes of study they undertake.
Work Placement: Complete 120 hours of supervised practical placement or demonstrate evidence.
Entry requirement: Be over 18 at the time of course commencement. Satisfactorily complete Guidestar Pre-Training Review Process includes language, literacy and numeracy test (LLN).
Pathways: Personal Care Worker, Aged Care Worker, Care Service Employee, Care Assistant
Duration: 6 months – 1 year
Work Placement: 160 hours that we can help you organise (working hours can be logged as placement hours for workplace students)
Entry requirement: Be at least 18 years of age. There are no entry requirements for this course, however students are required to undertake the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and Pre -Training Review.
Pathways: Mental health support worker, Rehabilitation support worker, Outreach worker, Family support worker, Case worker, Mental health coordinator
Duration: 1-2 year
Practical Placement: 240 hours that we can help you organise (working hours can be logged as placement hours for workplace students)
Entry requirement: Be at least 18 years of age. There are no entry requirements for this course, however students are required to undertake the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and Pre -Training Review.
