Study Certificate IV in Disability is the recognised qualification to become a disability support worker in Victoria.
CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support
Duration: This course takes approximately 6 months – 2 years which includes class time and 120 hours supervised work placement.
Delivery mode: Virtual/Blended, Workplace, Classroom Based, Distance Learning
Work Placement Requirements: Applicants of this qualification are required 120 hours of supervised practical placement in a Disability Organisation. JTI offers flexible training which suits individuals and industry requirements. The flexible nature of our delivery of this course such as online, blended and face-to-face caters the students in need of flexible study hours, working parents, students studying other courses, those juggling between employment and studies and all who are time constrained who wish to either further their education or change career paths.
Entry requirement: Prospective students are required to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and a Pre-Training Interview, administered by and to the satisfaction of ITHEA and be at least 18 years of age.
